OC: Belinda Santos [Pinoy Superhero Contest]

This is the first contest I'm joining in deviant art in this account~ I've always been a big fan of contests ))

SO ANYWAY!! This is the first Filipino Character I have EVER written and I am completely proud of myself~ I worked so hard in writing her so I sort of grew attached to her  
I was so inspired in making her due to the tragedies that the Philippines have experienced recently. I wrote her, thinking in mind of someone who can potentially save my motherland~~ Also, I purposely not made her physically appealing. Especially that dark skin!! The beauty standards in our country seems like that off a foreigner. White skin, chinky eyes, Tall nose. I wanted to give off a message that you're still beautiful even without those physical qualities and that we should be confident in our own skin ))

I know that my art and graphic design skills are still lacking at some parts. Even though there are some mistakes, I hope that you guys will see and consider Belinda as the superhero I intended her to be  

Oh, and also, I apologize for my in-activeness~ My tablet is still broken so I'm sort of discouraged in making art haha
